Eighteenth century lecture notes taken from lectures given by John Theophilius Desaguliers on the principles of mechanics, dating to approximately 1719. Many passages bear close similarity to sections of 1719's Lectures on experimental philosophy, edited and compiled by Paul Dawson from his notes on Desaguliers's lectures. In the lectures included here, Desaguliers explains the Newton's Laws of Nature as well as principles of elasticity.
